Morton Grove Residents
Bring a photo ID (or two forms of other ID) with your name and current Morton Grove address to the Check Out Desk to apply for a free library card, valid for 3 years. Residents aged birth to 18 need a parent or guardian’s signature.
If you don’t live in Morton Grove but have a valid library card in good standing at your home library, you can register your card with us as a Reciprocal Borrower to check out items, use the computers, and book study rooms. Reciprocal borrowers can check out up to 25 items per card at a time.
Non-residents can still purchase a Non-Resident Fee card for up to 10 family members living at the same address, valid for 1 year. The cost of a Non-Resident Fee card is based on the Library's tax rate and is updated each year.
For more info on Business, School, Property Owner, and other kinds of special cards, contact the Check Out Desk at 847-929-5103. See our Library Card Registration policy for more info.
