Week Calendar

Practice seated poses in one of the gentlest forms of yoga available, led by certified yoga instructor Susan Wilkens. All experience levels welcome. Wear comfortable clothes. Please use a sturdy chair without arms (if possible).

Grab a towel and bring your baby for a splashing good time. In case of bad weather, this event will be held in the Activity Room. 

Birth to 24 months with a parent/caregiver

Create handmade knitted and crocheted crafts for local organizations. Please bring your needles and/or hooks and some acrylic or cotton yarn.

Listen to stories, sing songs, and more at this fun family storytime. 

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be presenting the film "Catch Me If You Can" instead of "Napoleon".

Meet us at a different Morton Grove park each week for a fun outdoor storytime.

Maintain and enhance your cognitive function and memory with this interactive program.

It's a bonus party! The Early Childhood Alliance will bring activities, treats, and fun as they share information about early childhood (birth to five).

Drop by the front lawn for some bubble-tastic fun! We’ll have all the supplies you need to make and play with bubbles, big and small. Children under the age of 8 need to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Connect with fellow knitters at the Library. Whether you are a beginner or experienced knitter, this casual club is for you. Bring your latest project.

Drop-in and get creative while supplies last.

Stop by the Activity Room to design and create your own button, keychain, or magnet. Children under 5 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Community Affairs Specialist Michael Stephenson will guide you through the steps to retrieve your unclaimed property from the Illinois Treasurer’s office. 

Bibi Marcell and Gail Mangurten will play Yiddish soul music that will warm your hearts and make you want to clap and sing along.

Stop by the Activity Room for hands-on fun with science, technology, engineering, art, or math. You may join in at any time during the session.

Come dressed for mess to this outdoor family art program on the Library's front lawn (weather permitting). Each session features a different paint-based process to try.

Please register once per family/group.

Join us for an evening of zany games on the Library's front lawn. Games are geared toward school-aged kids and above, though younger children are welcome to participate with a grown-up.

Join us for a night out with your favorite stuffie! We’ll sing songs, tell stories around our imaginary campfire, and make a special craft for our fluffy friends.

Between the Lines meets for online discussions via Zoom. Registered patrons will receive an email the day before the program with the meeting ID and password for joining the event. New members are warmly welcome!
