Certified Tai Chi instructor Erica Bough demonstrates Shibashi body movements, breathing exercises, and meditation to help reduce stress, restore balance, and increase flexibility. All experience levels welcome. Wear comfortable clothes.

Practice seated poses in one of the gentlest forms of yoga available, led by certified yoga instructor Susan Wilkens. All experience levels welcome. Wear comfortable clothes. Please use a sturdy chair without arms (if possible).

Be part of the story with this interactive drama storytime! We’ll make simple props and costumes, then act out the story to create a storytime performance. 

Ages 3–5 with a parent/caregiver 

Participate in a spelling bee at the Niles-Maine District Library, 6960 W Oakton St. The winner gets a $100 gift card. Light refreshments will be served. 

E-Ling Lu will give a history of Ikebana, the art of Japanese flower arranging, followed by a demonstration. Attendees will then create their own Ikebana arrangement. Supplies will be provided.
