As we find our lives disrupted by COVID-19, our community is more important than ever. With this in mind, the Library has created two unique opportunities to show support and encouragement to our family, friends, and neighbors through a new initiative called Together Morton Grove.

During October and November, we welcome everyone to participate in one or both of these programs to help spread joy around our community.

Cards of Kindness

Send uplifting and caring messages to senior community members. Postcards will be available at the Info Desks or through curbside pickup while supplies last. Return your completed postcards in the outside bookdrop or inside the Library to be distributed to local senior citizens.

(If we're out of stock when you visit, ask the Info Desk staff to add you to the waitlist and we'll notify you when more are available.)

Simple Embroidery

Create an embroidered gift at home for a friend or loved one using our supplies and instructions. Choose from two inspirational sayings or design your own. Kits will be available at the Info Desk through curbside pickup while supplies last. Don't forget to take a picture of the final product and share it with us!
